Level – Advanced

First Aid Training Bangkok’s Emergency First Response®(EFR): CPR & First Aid Training

(Primary & Secondary Care) with AED is developed for anyone that has a responsibility to immediately respond to a person that is experiencing either life-threatening & non-life-threatening injury or illness until medical professionals arrive.

This includes: teachers, office staff, childcare workers, parents, nannies, camp counselors, swim coaches, security, lifeguards, etc.

The training curriculum is based upon the latest international recommendations as established by the Basic Life Support (BLS) Task Force of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).

What will you learn?

1. Primary Care skills: Scene Assessment, Primary Assessment (Responsiveness/Breathing), Activating EMS, CPR, Choking skills for Adults, Children, and Infants. Manage Spinal Cord Injuries, Serious bleeding, Pressure bandage & Tourniquet, Shock, Respiratory Arrest, Cardiac Arrest, Drowning, Recovery Position, Poisoning, and Environmental emergencies. Good Samaritan Laws, Using an AED.

2. Secondary Care skills: First Aid Training Basics include, fainting; seizures/convulsions, wound cleaning & care, broken bones & sprains, internal bleeding, bites & stings, allergic reactions - anaphylaxis, breathing problems, dehydration, burns, electrical injuries, heat & cold illnesses-heat exhaustion, low blood sugar-diabetes, amputations. Also covered; injuries to the head, neck, eyes, mouth & teeth, nose bleeds. And more.

Learn how to respond to a person that is unresponsiveness, having difficulty breathing or choking. The Person’s Life you save by performing CPR or use your First Aid could be your Mother, Father, Son or Daughter, Niece or Nephew, a Colleague.

Theory Lesson + Practical Lesson

First Aid Training Bangkok teaches you the steps for handling life-threatening emergencies. You will also learn how to prioritize emergency procedures using the AB-CABS memory word and monitor a patient's Cycle of Care. Then Participants will practice their new skill level in a relaxed and positive environment.

TEACHER EXPERT:

Scott H Van Doren has trained over 14,000 individuals in CPR since 2009, through his company First Aid Training Bangkok, where he is based.

He is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and the top Emergency First Response Instructor worldwide.

As the Ambassador for the American College of Surgeons' Committee on Trauma "STOP THE BLEED" campaign in Thailand, Scott has contributed to training over 2.4 million people globally.

He is also a Tactical Combat Casualty Care Instructor, drawing on his extensive experience to provide life-saving training.

With a background in both U.S. military and law enforcement, Scott is an expert in emergency care.
